St. Theodore Preschool uses a blend of Creative Curriculum and Project Construct.  Both are derived from the belief that learning is a lifelong process in which learners construct knowledge through interactions with their physical and social environments. Through "hands-on, minds-on" learning experiences, students attain deep understandings in the core content areas, while they also learn to work collaboratively with adults and peers in vibrant learning communities.

Director

Hello! My name is Mo Rackers and I am the Director of St. Theodore Preschool.  I have a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and taught in the Jefferson City Diocese ranging in grades from K-7.  I was working on my Master's Degree in Administration through William Woods University before deciding to stay home and raise our family.  With only one child still at home, I am so happy to be back in education.  My husband, Greg, and I have three children, Gabriel, Grant and Grace.    We are members of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish.  As side hobbies, I love making custom rosaries and doing photography!  I love being part of the St. Theodore Preschool family and my favorite part of the day is seeing all the smiling faces!   Our number one priority at St. Theodore Preschool is that every child feels loved and safe!

Ms. Laura - Preschool Lead Teacher

Hi! I’m Laura Stone. I am so excited to be joining St. Theodore Preschool as the new preschool lead teacher! I received my degree in Elementary Education from the University of Missouri- Saint Louis. I was previously  part of the preschool program at Immaculate Conception of Dardenne, and have taught PSR at Saint Joseph-Cottleville for the past 8 years. Being able to share my Catholic faith with my students over the years has been a great privilege that I can't wait to continue at St. Theodore!

In my free time, I love being outdoors with my husband Tim and our 2 dogs Finn and Effie.  I also enjoy going to the theater, traveling, learning new things, and taking as many pictures as possible!

Ms. Carole Dawn - Pre-K Lead Teacher

Hello.  My name is Carole Dawn Fallon and I am the new Pre-K teacher here at St. Theodore Preschool.  I could not be more excited to join this amazing team of educators.  Although this year looks a little different than the other 30 plus years I have spent as an early childhood educator, I can assure you that this will be an amazing and educational year for your child!

I have my Master’s degree in Education and I hold my dual certification in the State of Missouri in Early Childhood Education Birth-Third Grade and Early Childhood Special Education Birth-Third Grade.  I have served children and families as an early childhood special education teacher, a kindergarten teacher, a preschool teacher, as a Head Start teacher and administrator and in other various roles in education over the past thirty plus years of my career.  I love studying curriculum and brain development.

I have recently married my husband Daniel.  I have two adult children Andrew and Alexa.  I have one grandson Jasper who will be two in October and one granddaughter on the way (Willow who will arrive in late November).  I love to read, play the piano (badly), work in my art journals and spend time with my grandson.

Parent Testimonials

  • Best decision I have made for my son's growth and development!  He is in a loving and nurturing environment where the teachers go the extra mile!  The daily sheets help open communication with our son about his day and all the new skills he is learning.  I love when we discover he knows something "new" that he has learned at school.  It is a great program that focuses on social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.   As a former teacher who was in the field of early childhood education and has a degree in education....I wouldn't want my son anywhere else!   -Anonymous

  • An incredible staff that takes the learning experience for our kids to the next level.  I could not imagine a better environment for my son.  -Ashley W.
